Habog has worked on Regional plan for a rural constituency in Karnataka which has helped the team gain experience in viewing this in a wholistic view covering agriculture, roads, water supply, power, education, health, Industries, disaster management and digital connectivity.

Proof Consultancy and Road Safety

1. Technical Advisory Services: Proof consulting is a field we have gained experience over the last years with the advent of EPC contracts and its implications on the technical veracity of the designs prepared. Contractual and user implications make the job of proof consultants important in view of the final project outcomes. We have carried out design checks and audits for the contractor and for the implementing agency. 2. Road Safety Audits: Habog Consultants takes its road safety practice with utmost respect as this gives us the satisfaction of efforts to save lives apart from honing the technical skills. We offer a select team of Road Safety Specialists along with experienced Traffic/Highway Engineers in all aspects of Road Safety Engineering. Our team consists of experts having completed 15 and 45 day road safety training program. We have worked with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) who have mandated Road Safety Audits (RSA) for all the proposed projects including existing highways to improve safety.

Traffic & Transportation Studies

Increasing traffic in Urban scape has led to traffic snarls in most major cities. Habog is working on ameliorating the situation to the maximum possible – either in a pan urban level through Government clients or in a local level working with Industrial Parks and other developers. Our work include Concept to commissioning assistance to Dehradun Smart City in implementation of a Elctric Bus system and supporting developers to address traffic circulation needs in a number of Industrial Parks including Embassy Tech Village – Bangalore, Ozone Chambers – Bangalore, Trivandrum Techno Park Phase III – Trivandrum, Barka Residential & Commercial Development – Oman and ALBA Traffic Access Improvement in Bahrain. We simulate traffic in small areas with micro simulation model VISSIM. Our team are skilled to do city/regional level Transportation Models with various software available in the market. We have also undertaken traffic projection for green field highway projects in India for Feasibility/DPR studies being undertaken by National Highway Authority of India – for lead consultants. Our inputs in these projects have been limited to traffic projection and working on accessibility for the green field highways.
